No one can promise that a machine will work forever, especially in tough continuous use in an industrial scenario. But FEIN guarantees that if something should go wrong, it will soon be up and running again. With an extensive network of Authorised FEIN Workshop, as well as an active internal service department, FEIN provides a fast, efficient support for servicing, repairs and safety checks. We also offer a 6-month warranty for every replaced part in repaired machine.


Repair is split in two categories:

  1. Warranty
  2. Non Warranty

Warranty repair

  1. Return your machine to any FEIN dealer, providing your proof of sales (including your FEIN warranty certificate – produced when the tool was registered online). Your local dealer can be found here
  2. Machine is collected from your local dealer and taken to FEIN service department
  3. FEIN contacts the dealer to advise on the repair/replacement
  4. Machine is delivered back to the dealer ready for collection

Non Warranty repair - Authorised FEIN Workshop

For machines outside of the warranty period (one year if unregistered, three if registered)

  1. Return your machine to authorised FEIN Workshop (find them here)
  2. The Authorised FEIN Workshop will provide a binding quote for your repair
  3. Machine is repaired on the premises
  4. Collection to be arranged with the dealer

Non Warranty repair - Standard Dealer

For machines outside of the warranty period (one year if unregistered, three if registered)

  1. Return your machine FEIN dealer
  2. Dealer will contact FEIN UK & machine is collected and taken to the FEIN service department
  3. FEIN contacts the dealer with binding quotation on the repair
  4. The dealer contacts the owner with a quote. If accepted the repair will go ahead, if not the machine is returned in its current state
  5. Payment is taken by the dealer and collection is made once the repair is complete

Because FEIN only distributes through a dealer network the payment and contract is between machine owner and the dealer.
