Why does the permanent filter on my vacuum cleaner not fit properly on the container?
Question:
Why does the permanent filter on my vacuum cleaner not fit properly on the container?
Answer:
Improper storage of the permanent filter in its packaging may cause pressure to be exerted on the black plastic ring over a longer period of time. This pressure can slightly deform the plastic ring of the filter, preventing it from fitting 100% cleanly into the recess of the container, which is not always noticeable. This can allow dust to enter the engine compartment.
Solution:
Please observe the storage conditions for the permanent filter.
The permanent filter must be stored flat, lying down and without pressure.
The rubber ring can usually be restored to its original shape by applying light pressure with your hands.
