How do multitools work?
Multitools feature a wide range of functions: they are oscillating power tools that can be equipped with various adapters. These are simply clipped onto the tool head. This way, you can perform a wide variety of applications such as sanding, polishing, or sawing with your multitool. For this purpose, a sanding plate, a polishing plate, or a saw blade/plunge saw blade are attached to the FEIN oscillators. Some of these are included in the standard delivery or are part of the basic equipment of certain sets. The rotational movement of the motor is converted into an oscillating movement via an eccentrically ground ball bearing, and a fork attached to the tool axis.
What is so special about FEIN's oscillating multitools?
Oscillating multitools generate 20,000 vibrations per minute. FEIN's MULTIMASTER offers shock-absorbing elements that are connected to the motor housing to ensure that these vibrations are only minimally transmitted to the tool and the user.
