A mag drill that fits where no others can… Introducing the JMC Magforce 90 – A compact mag drill with a brushless motor for high efficiency and performance.
The New JMC MagForce 90 is the smallest magnetic base drill on the market featuring forward and reverse rotation. This drill can work in the tightest spaces, with overall dimensions of 6-5/8’” x 11-3/8”and a low weight of 18.75lbs, it fits where other mag drills simply can’t. Contributes to small size of drill, since brushless motor takes up less internal space. Its small size, low weight and ratchet handle means you can handle a variety of applications and jobs in the workshop or in the job site, and even work easily overhead.
Work efficiently, the forward and reverse rotation and a unique spindle sleeve feed for cutting depths of up to 1-3/8” means you can do many jobs with this one drill. With an 1150W brushless motor and electronic speed setting for impressive results this compact mag drill doesn’t compromise power or speed. The MagForce has 2,248 Ibf magnetic holding force but in the rare instance the magnet is compromised, the tilt sensor safety shutoff automatically shuts down the drill, allowing you to work safely. Motor is encased and protected from dirt and debris, meaning it requires less maintenance and remains powerful for longer than brush motor counterparts.
Benefits of JMC MagForce 90
- Strong brushless motor – 100% duty cycle
- 10% Shorter length
- 200% Improved efficiency in Gearbox – double mechanical output power
- 45% more power with 800W output
- Extremely low weight for easy portability

Why Use a Magnetic Base Drill?
The JMC MagForce 90 is best used in hard to access locations to cut through tough material with precision, accuracy, and consistency. The magnetic base attaches to the metal surface which stabilizes the drill in order to cut the material.
Best uses for this tool would be in steel/metal construction, mechanical engineering and more specific working such as truck frame or bridge construction.
- Production and installation of steel and metal structures
- Production of iron, steel and metal components for structural purposes such as buildings/infrastructure and bridges
- Manufacturing of architectural and decorative metalwork such as stairs and balconies
- Construction, reconstruction of repair ships/vehicles/trailers
- Production of agricultural machines, construction machines as well as hoisting and conveying equipment
What do we sell with the JMC MagForce 90?
To make the most out of the JMC MagForce 90 we also have accessories including: twist drills, taps & countersinks as well as brushes, fluids and pastes. Our twist drills, taps, and countersinks are ID & ID TiN (Titanium Nitride) coated which is wear resistant, reduces friction, and improves tool life. The cutting geometry of these tools enables direct drilling of two or more layers of steel all in one step.
