  • The fully enclosed brushless FEIN PowerDrive motor provides the perfect protection from aggressive grinding dust. Sooner or later, these dusts will destroy regular motors. The new innovative FEIN motor concept prevents this from happening and thereby extends the tool’s life by more than 60%.
  • The technology in the FEIN PowerDrive motor operates without carbon brushes. This translates into fewer wear parts, longer service intervals and lower maintenance costs. The extremely efficient 1500 W motor consumes 200 W less power and yet is more effective than a 1700 W universal motor, which reduces energy costs.

A LIGHTWEIGHT TOOL CAN BE A POWERFUL TOOL

The best power-to-weight ratio; weighing in at 4.9lbs / 2.2 kg and with an output power of 1050 W. Makes it considerably more efficient than an angle grinder with a 1700 W rated input.

HIGHER SAFETY LEVELS

Health and safety is significantly improved through the efficient brake (≤ 2 s), soft start, restart protection, kick-back check and jam monitoring. Also available with optional AutoStop and fall arrestor.

ABLE TO WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE

The electronic overload protection kicks in when required. A flashing LED indicates when you are working in the overload range. This protects the tool and results in fewer failures.

The variable electronic speed is ideal for a whole host of grinding materials and applications.

PERFECT PROTECTION

The fully enclosed brushless FEIN PowerDrive Motor and the motor electronics are fitted separately and have dust protection. This means that the CG 15 product line lasts much longer than products with universal motors. The concept is rounded off by the optimized cool air supply and temperature monitoring.
