Data protection declaration
All data is held on servers within EU/EEA member states.
Use of personal data / right to withdraw consent for advertising
We only collect personal data which you have knowingly provided, e.g. via input masks. This data is initially processed in order to process your request.
We also use your name and address to occasionally send you advertising by post. If you do not agree to this, you can withdraw your consent for your data to be used for this purpose using the contact details provided in the Legal notice section, ideally by e-mailing: email@example.com.
You will only receive phone-based and electronic advertising if you have expressly agreed to this, in particular if you have registered for our newsletter (see below). You can also withdraw your consent (for advertising) at any time using the contact details provided in the Legal notice section.
Unless otherwise stated, data will only be shared with third parties without your express consent if this is necessary in your interest or if this is required by law.
Registering for the newsletter and the double-opt-in process / right to withdraw consent
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, you will need to consent to receiving our newsletter by e-mail. We use what is known as a double-opt-in process here. In other words, first we send a 'check' e-mail containing a confirmation link to the e-mail address you provided. We only assume that you consent once you have confirmed registration to the newsletter by clicking on the confirmation link. Your consent is logged; this can be accessed and withdrawn at any time.
Registration data linked to the 3-year warranty
The data you provide is used by C. & E. Fein GmbH and your contractual partner (FEIN subsidiary or distributor) to carry out the contractual relationship in place with you.
In addition, your contractual partner only uses your postal address to occasionally send you further information about FEIN products.
You can withdraw your consent for your data being used by your contractual partner for advertising purposes at any time without the need for a specific form; ideally this should be done by e-mailing the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration for the 3-year FEIN PLUS warranty can be withdrawn at any time. The related data is then deleted with immediate effect. Please note that all the data you have provided in relation to the 3-year FEIN PLUS warranty will be lost and you will no longer be entitled to the extended warranty.
Please send written notice to this effect
by e-mail to email@example.com
by post to FEIN Middle East FZE, Jebel Ali Free Zone – FZS1 BL02, P.O. Box: 261875, Dubai - UAE
You will find more information about our warranty declaration here.

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer to analyse your site usage. The information gathered by the cookie about your site usage is usually sent to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. However, if IP anonymisation has been activated on this site, in member states of the European Union and other countries which are signatories to the EEC agreement, your IP address will first be shortened by Google. In exceptional cases, the full IP address will be sent to and shortened on a Google server in the USA. Google will use this information on behalf of the site operator to analyse your use of the site, compile reports on site activity, and provide other services relating to site and Internet usage. The IP address collected by Google Analytics will not be linked with any other data held by Google. You may disable cookies by selecting the appropriate setting in your browser. Please note, however, that this may prevent you from making full use of the functions on this website. You may also prevent the site usage data collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being stored and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available through this link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. This sets an opt-out cookie, which prevents your data from being recorded in the future when you visit this website:
Deactivating Google Analytics
Please also note that the “gat._anonymizeIp();” code has been added to Google Analytics on this website to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (what is known as IP masking).
Facebook social plug-in
Our website uses social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plug-ins can be recognised by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign) or are identified by the words “Facebook Social Plug-in”. You can see the list of the Facebook social plug-ins and what they look like here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins.
When you access a page on our website that contains one of these plug-ins, your browser establishes a direct link to the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is transferred directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated by this into the website. We do not therefore have any influence over the amount of data that Facebook collects using this plug-in and can therefore only inform you of what we know:
By integrating the plug-ins, Facebook receives information, indicating that you have accessed a particular page on our website. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example if you click on the Like button or provide a comment, information relating to this is transferred from your browser directly to Facebook, where it is stored. If you are not a member of Facebook, it is still possible for Facebook to find out and store your IP address.
For details of the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, your rights relating to this and settings options to protect your privacy, please refer to the data protection notices provided by Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
If you are a member of Facebook and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our website and to link this to your member data stored by Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also block Facebook social plug-ins using add-ons for your browser, for example using the “Facebook Blocker”.
In addition, we only use what are known as session cookies, which allow you to use certain functions of our website. These are automatically deleted at the end of your session.
If you have any questions relating to data protection and data security, please contact our company data protection officer by e-mailing:
