FEIN does promise that if something goes wrong, your power tool will quickly be repaired and running again. With an extensive network of Authorized FEIN Workshops, as well as an active internal service department, FEIN provides a swift, efficient system for service, warranties, repairs and maintenance checks.

Repair is split in two categories:

  1. Warranty
  2. Non Warranty

Warranty repair

  1. Return your machine to any FEIN dealer, providing a sales receipt (including your FEIN warranty certificate, rendered when the tool was registered online). Your local dealer can be found here.
  2. Your machine is collected from your local dealer and taken to the FEIN service department
  3. FEIN contacts the dealer to advise on the repair/replacement
  4. Machine is delivered back to the dealer ready for customer collection

Non-Warranty Repair - Authorized FEIN Workshop

For machines outside of the warranty period (one year if unregistered, three if registered):

  1. Return your machine to an authorized FEIN Workshop (find them here)
  2. The authorized FEIN Workshop will provide a binding quote for your repair
  3. Machine is repaired on the premises
  4. Collection to be arranged with the dealer

Non-Warranty Repair - Standard Dealer

For machines outside of the warranty period (one year if unregistered, three if registered):

  1. Return your machine to a FEIN dealer
  2. Dealer will contact FEIN and machine is then collected and taken to the FEIN service department
  3. FEIN contacts the dealer with binding quote for the repair
  4. The dealer contacts the owner with a quote. If accepted, the repairs will commence. If the quote is declined, the machine is returned to owner in its current state
  5. Dealer takes payment and owner collects machine once the repair is completed

Authorized FEIN Workshops can be found by clicking the appropriate boxes on the FEIN Find a dealer page.

FEIN only distributes through a dealer network. Any repair payment and contract is between the machine owner and the dealer.
